What insurances do you take? We accept most major insurances. Please call the office to determine if we take your specific plan.

Do you have in-office ultrasound? Yes, we have convenient in-office ultrasound available daily.

Do you have in-office phlebotomy? Yes, you will be able to have your bloodwork drawn in our office.

Do you offer vaginal delivery after cesarean section (VBAC/TOLAC)? Yes, we are happy to offer a trial of labor to patients, depending on their history.

How often do I need a pap smear? Depending on your age and medical history, pap smears begin at age 21 and may be needed every year, every three years, or every five years. For many patients, no further pap smears will be performed after age 65.

How often do I need a mammogram? Beginning at age 40, mammograms should be performed every 1-2 years. At age 50, yearly mammograms are recommended. Of course, this may change due to personal or family medical history.

I just found out that I am pregnant. When do I need to schedule my first OB appointment? We like to see our new OB patients 6-8 weeks after your last menstrual period. Of course, if you are having concerns or problems, we will see you sooner.

At which hospitals do you deliver? We deliver at TriStar Horizon Medical Center.

Does TriStar Horizon have a NICU? Yes! Our level II NICU opened in 2017 and is staffed 24-7 by a wonderful team of neonatal nurses and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner.

Do you share an on-call schedule with anyone else? We share call with three other Ob/Gyn physicians, Dr. Amanda Haneline, Dr. Jenna Peplinski, and Dr. Bennett Spetalnick.

How old do I have to be in order to have my tubes “tied”? Sterilization can be performed as young as age 21. We will discuss your fertility goals and contraceptive options together to help you make the right choice for you!
